Job title: Senior Administrator and Collections co-ordinator

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £16k-£19,500k dependant on experience

Reporting to: Company Directors  of U Can Recycling – an IT recycling company

Role Objective:

  • To provide administrational support to the Directors and finance officer of this busy growing company.
  • To co-ordinate and manage the collections of redundant IT from businesses in the region

The Company:

We are a social enterprise company specialising in the recycling of IT equipment based in Wyke, Bradford.  We are a small but growing company offering plenty of scope for success to the right individual.

We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, i.e. they want to get stuck in and make a difference to the way we work. A confident, friendly manner is necessary to be able to communicate with all the different people you will come across on a daily basis.

Key duties:

  • Generating, organising and co-ordinating free collections of redundant IT from businesses in the region
  • Ensuring collections paperwork and systems are up to date
  • Filing Hazardous paperwork for free collections
  • General office management ie checking and ordering for printers, stationery etc
  • Database updates and collation
  • Volunteer administration
  • Ensuring vehicle and plant checks are done
  • Answering the phone and giving accurate messages
  • Applying for and renewing licences
  • Helping Finance Officer with admin
  • To support sales and marketing
  • Maintaining office equipment


Essential Key Skills:

  • Computer competent
  • A key communicator, both verbally and written
  • A good level of English spelling and grammar
  • Accurate with good attention to detail in all aspects of job
  • Consistency to deliver work to best of ability
